Oral Presentation Guidelines

  • Duration: Each presenter will be allotted 15 minutes: 10 minutes for the presentation and 5 minutes for Q&A.
  • Presenter Eligibility: The paper must be presented by one of the listed authors or co-authors only.
  • Setup Options:
    • You may use your own laptop or the Windows PC provided in the session room (Microsoft PowerPoint installed).
    • Ensure your presentation file is ready on a USB drive or your own device.
  • Timing: Presenters are advised to arrive early and test their setup. Technical volunteers will be available for assistance.
  • Setup Deadline: Please set up before the Opening Ceremony of the conference.

Poster Presentation Guidelines

  • Poster Size: Posters must not exceed 24 inches (width) x 36 inches (height) (2 ft. x 3 ft.)..
  • Preparation: Please bring a professionally printed version of your poster to the venue.
  • Setup and Removal:
    • Posters must be set up before the Opening Ceremony.
    • Posters should be removed immediately after the session ends.
  • Presenter Presence: At least one author must be present near the poster during the session to answer questions and engage with participants.
  • Display Location: Posters will be displayed in the conference exhibition area designated for visual sessions.

Virtual Presentation Guidelines

  • Submission Process:
    • Submit your abstract or full paper for double-blind peer review.
    • Upon acceptance, confirm your virtual participation.
    • Pre-Conference Preparation:
      • You must join a mandatory test run session before the conference to check audio-visual compatibility.
  • Conference Support: ISSER’s technical team will guide you in using the virtual platform for your live presentation.
  • After Your Virtual Presentation, You Will Receive:
    • Certificate of Presentation (Soft Copy)
    • Conference Proceedings (Soft Copy)
  • Technical Requirements:
    • Laptop or desktop with a webcam and microphone
    • Headset recommended for clear audio
  • Updated Zoom application
    • Ensure a quiet, well-lit location with a clean or professional background
    • Temporarily disable antivirus software if it interferes with your webcam or microphone
